Champs Field Campsite offers pitches for up to 7 tents, campers, motor

homes and caravans in a lovely, well maintained meadow type field which

has some uneven spots. The field was home to our pony Champ for 37 years.

The campsite is on our working farm on the edge of the pretty village of Colton,

just 5 miles from York and 20 miles from Leeds and Harrogate.

 

On the campsite you will find:

• Pitches from £12 to £16 per night

• Electric hook ups - £6 per night, please choose the

• correct number of nights from the extras section during

• the booking process  

• 1 Toilet

• Indoor wash area with 2 x sinks

• 1 Shower - chargeable at £1 per 7 minutes

• Communal Campfire

• Campers room with local info, kettle, small fridge

• Farm Beef available to purchase - please order in advance where possible though purchases are welcome at any time

• Washing up station 

• Chemical Disposal Point

• Electric cars can be charged off site one at a time by the farm shop at 88p per unit used, you will need your own cable and to make arrangements on site during your stay. Any cars found charging from the on site EHU's will be charged £100 and asked to leave.

• Awnings are welcome at £3 per night, please add the correct number of nights using the extras section during the booking process

Please note: we ask for a minimum 2 night stay on weekends and a minimum 3 night stay on bank holiday weekends. We regret we are unable to accept dogs onsite.

 

To ensure all guests have a great time here, we operate a quiet time from 10.30pm til 7am. If you are looking for a site to enjoy a late night party then this is not the site for you!

Check in is from 2pm and departures are up til 11am. We do not lock our gates so there is no arrival cutoff time, however we ask for quiet when arriving on site late.  Upon arrival please check the pitch plan on the outside wall of our farm shop (CURRENTLY CLOSED) and make your way to your pitch.

During extreme dry weather we do not allow fires as this is a working farm.

If you require more then one pitch and wish to be next to each other, you need to make separate bookings and add your requirement in the NOTES section. We will always try to accommodate this request but it cannot be guaranteed. Thank you.
